Chick Farewell Letter- hatching chicks in class project resource

Time to say goodbye!! A cute end to a hatching chicks project. Print and send this free letter home with the children. Did you have a farewell party? Don't forget to write to them to find out how they are growing and if they have had chicks of their own. They sometimes drop a feather in the class when they have snuck back to drop off a surprise for the class.

+++ Discussion Dice Game +++ Similarities and differences in the way we clebrate. A great simple resource to print, fold and stick. print it onto card. Children can make their own or you may only need one per group or class. can be enlraged to A3 and stuck on card before cutting. Use it to answer questions such as "tell me what you know about when people gives presents?" and extend thinking with "Do people get Eid/ Diwali/ Christmas presents?" etc. The game is about looking for similarities and differences about the way we celebrate big festivals.

Christmas shape/ number/pattern FUN TREE GAME for md, numeracy

A fun, practical, easy to make game that promotes > learning about 3D shapes >counting for a purpose >reading instructions for a practical purpose >naming colours >co-operative play >problem solving skills >pattern >scissor skills Instructions for teachers and children included. It is recommended you purchase sticky dots for this game (so much fun to use!) but you can draw or paint onto them too. Great to display after you play! The game includes photocopiable shapes to make into cones that balance on top of each other. Just copy on card then children cut and sticky tape them together themselves (they don't have to be works of art!) then it becomes a game to match the spots to the number card chosen or roll the dice. They can place the spots in repeating patterns too. Merry Christmaths :)

Coronation of King Charles Key Vocab Game- Pretutor/ DLD/speech therapy/SLCN/ early talk/ talk boost

Language Blocks Game: Key Vocab related to the upcoming coronation to support pupils acquire new vocab or for children who would benefit from pretutoring to support their understanding of the topic. An interactive Powerpoint game. Click, talk and listen to audio clips. A game to encourage discussion with an adult or peer. The images are humorous to inspire funny sentences. The game has a Minecraft inspired theme to hook their interest. Are you supporting children with developmental language delay? This is a quick and fun game to learn new words such as procession or horse drawn carriage. Also ideal for conversations about places and jobs. There are also opportunities to talk about emotions and some prepositions. Lots of ways to tailor the game to specific needs. I am a teacher of 24 years and mum to a child with DLD finding fun ways to practice our speech therapy homework! I would love to hear your feedback and what other DLD resources would be useful. Thanks for looking! Polly x
